NCLEX from Home: What International Nurses Need to Know

The NCLEX may soon be available for remote or at-home testing. Learn what this means for international nurses, what to expect, and how WWHS supports you.

Big news for future U.S. nurses! The National Council of State Boards of Nursing (NCSBN) has announced that remote or at-home NCLEX testing may be available as early as 2026.

As your trusted partner, WorldWide HealthStaff Solutions (WWHS) is here to help you understand what this change could mean for international nurses and how it can impact your journey to the U.S.

🏠 What is Remote NCLEX Testing?

Remote NCLEX testing will let eligible candidates take the NCLEX from home or another approved location, with no need to travel to a Pearson VUE test center.

  • Same exam content, length, & scoring as in-person testing
  • Offers more flexibility & easier access
  • Optional: you can still choose to test at a center
